Sundae Delight

This is an update on another SAL that Im doing called Sundae Delight and its just lovely to work on after all the confetti stitching of the train its nice to work on a piece that has blocks of colour I have only done one small corner of it but its looking good

Train of Dreams Update

Well here is an update of my Train of Dreams I didnt think I had done all that much till I looked at my last post and realised just how much I had done
The dragon is almost complete and now you can just start to see the sun
Im about a third of the way through and dispite my mutterings about all the confetti stitching Im really enjoying doing it

Sundae Delight

Well this is the start of Sundae Delight which is another stitch along that Im doing with a couple of others
Im enjoying doing it and cant wait till I start to get into a bit more detail which will make it really fun to work on till I hit the braiding
Still for now Im not thinking about that Im just enjoying doing it and watching it come to life

Train of Dreams

Well the train of dreams is coming along nicely now and Im just loving working on it and watching the details as they start to come to life
The dragon is well under way now and the whole piece proving to be just magical to work on

Train of Dreams Update

Hi All

Well this is the latest update of my train I think Ive done about 4 pages now and at last I can start to see the engine of the train.  The box is done too Now Im looking forward to seeing the Dragon.

Its like watching a beautiful painting unfold I was looking at the other night and thinking I must be mad to do all this detail but watching it come to life is amazing and when I see pictures of it I can see why so many people comment on it

TOD Update

Well this is the latest picture of my TOD I have been working hard on it and didnt really think I had done alot till now.  Its really strange working on it I cant see the picture forming at all then I take a photo of it and I think WOW its starting to come to life
Im really happy with it and am just loving working on it

  Well this is the new HAED design that Im going to buy I think its so cute and I cant resist it any more Im going to add it to my stash so I can start it in about 12 months - cute isnt it???

Well this is an update of my train I have done two pages so far and am almost through my third.

Its coming along nicely and I can start to see the train

I still have miles to go on it but its  coming along nicely but I will have to start being good soon and doing some more work on my WIPs if I can drag myself away from this.

Train OF Dreams

I havent posted any pictures of late on my Train of Dreams so I thought that I might

Its coming along nicely although I have miles to go on it, still Im enjoying working on it very much and am ignoring the voices in my head that are trying to shame me into working on some of my other pieces

To date Im very happy with the way this is turning out

WIP Train of dreams

Well I have done some more on my Train, infact since starting this one I have been sadly neglecting all my other works  But it is coming along nicely and I have almost finished the first page.  Despite all the confeti stitching Im really enjoying doing it  But I must get going on my other works The angel is calling as is the cross. I do want to get them done so I expect for a time the work on my train will slow as I try to get some other works finished.



Train of Dreams

Here is the first picture of my train
Ive done just over 1600 stitches on it and its not till I look at it from a distance that it makes any sense

But Im loving doing it I just need to learn to keep my other WIPs going
The angel still needs to be done and I would like to see her finished by christmas
Still we will see if I can drag myself away from the train long enough to get her done

My Girl - Finished

Well with a big push this week and an eagerness to start my Train of Dreams I have finished the girl I was working on
She was a bit of work but really quite a joy with big blocks of colour and done on 14 count
Im really pleased with the finished product

Now on to my Train - Yay

Dees Angel - Update

Well the work on this one continues to be slow the dress is proving to be the nightmare I thought it would be with lots of gold thread and just to top it off I have made a mistake but cant stand the thought of unpicking all that gold thread so Im hoping no one will notice Bring on Christmas and by then this will be finished I will never do this one again So if you want the patten let me know

Bird of Paradise

This bird I did over christmas one year I was really taken with him I thought the colours were just so nice He was ment for my mum but when he was finished she said she didnt want him and I cant throw him out after all the work that went into him So I kept him and who knows one day either Ill find a home for him or I might do something like frame him But dont you think he is georgous.

Fishes

This is one of my completed works there are a couple of mistakes in this one but you would never notice them ( I do) But I thought they were a bit of fun and they were a joy to work  Maybe one day I will get round to framing them

My Girl - Update

I have been working hard on this one and finally the gap is now starting to close I can see the eye now  Id like to think that Im now on the home streach but I know there is now alot of confetti stitching to be done Still with a real push Im hoping by the end of September Ill finally be able to say She is done Then I can start my Train Of Dreams.

Okay I have a problem Im hoping someone can solve for me
I really want to do this pattern I think its something very special but I have an awful feeling its done on a black background
I dont really want to do it on black as I find it to hard to work on and Navy is just as bad
Does anyone have any ideas on what other colours I could use
I dont want to do it on white or a pale colour either
Im looking for ideas please

Dees Angel Update

Well this weekend I have been working hard on this one
My aim was to have the wings completed by Sunday Night as I can only work on them in daylight hours
With a real push the wings are now done and Im very happy with the progress on this one
Now Im starting on some blocks of plain colour before I have to go back the balance of the dress, where there is more gold thread to be done
Im not sure which is worse the wings (white on white) or working with gold thread
Still I hope to have her done by Christmas
We will see how I go.

Ok I have been working on this as part of my 100 stitch a day challenge and I have gotten quite a bit of it done now, almost half way through it
Now Im getting into some big blocks of colour the stitching is fast and easy
I hope to get it done by September
